The Center for Enriched Living

The Center for Enriched Living exists so that people with developmental disabilities can be fully included in the community, achieve personal success, and enjoy a good quality of life.

How We Helped

In 2012, MCFG began work with The Center for Enriched Living on a twelve-month strategic planning process. Bridging their passion for supporting people with disabilities with their enthusiasm for strategic planning, Laura and Mac facilitated extensive information-gathering and writing processes, facilitating two board retreats and two staff retreats along the way. Laura and Mac loved working with The Center for Enriched Living, learning new strategic planning skills and tools and providing support to the board and staff in their work positively impacting the lives of their members.

I loved working with Laura, Mac, and their talented team at McAlpine Consulting.  They made the process of Strategic Planning fun, productive, and engaging with ambitious outcomes. We achieved our goals from that plan – finishing our Universal Design campaign and successfully moving into our newly renovated UD building, strengthening our board, diversifying our support, increasing engagement of our staff team, expanding our reach through satellites, increasing Quality Assurance with CQL Accreditation, launching a new Employment program for adults with IDD, and increasing our visibility with the hiring of a Marketing Communications Manager. This was nearly 10 years ago but McAlpine’s impact can still be felt today!
